MEDFORD, Ore. — A father of four who recently relocated with his family from Utah to Oregon was killed in a car crash Saturday.

Around 1:40 a.m. Saturday, police troopers and emergency personnel responded to the single-vehicle rollover on Interstate 5 in Medford, according to Oregon State police.

“Preliminary investigation revealed a 1993 Chevrolet Blazer was traveling southbound on Interstate 5 when it exited at the Crater Lake Highway off-ramp,” Oregon State police reported. “The Chevrolet drifted off the roadway and rolled coming to rest upside down in a grassy area.”

Medford resident Brandon S. Page, 25, was pronounced dead on scene. Three of his children were in the car with him at the time of the accident. The 1-year-old, 3-year-old and 4-year-old suffered minor injuries and were transported to Rogue Regional Medical Center, according to Oregon State police.

Page and his girlfriend, Amber Rasmussen, had four children together, ages 7 and younger. The family relocated from Sandy, Utah, to Oregon in the springtime, according to Amber Rasmussen’s sister, Ashley Rasmussen.

The majority of Page’s family lives in Oregon, and they wanted to spend more time with his mom, who is paralyzed, Ashley Rasmussen said.

“I would say he would be remembered for lots of things,” she said. “He’s known so many people in his life, but I would say first and foremost that he was a loving father and he loved his kids with everything he was.”

Amber Rasmussen’s stepmother set up a GoFundMe account* for her family. To donate, visit the website.

“At this time, the family is obviously in mourning,” Ashley Rasmussen said. “We are looking for some privacy in regards to the accident, but prayers, love and any donations is welcome and appreciated.”
