CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were mixed Thursday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for Sept. delivery was .50 cent higher at $4.0460 a bushel; Sept. corn was .50 cent lower at $3.27 bushel; Sept. oats was unchanged at $1.6920 a bushel; while Sept. soybeans lost 12.50 cents to $10.18 a bushel.
Beef mixed and pork prices were lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
August live cattle was .05 cent higher at $1.1278 a pound; August feeder cattle was .25 cent higher at $1.4690 pound; October lean hogs lost .30 cent to to $.6003 a pound.
