It's Sen. Hillary Clinton's turn to address the convention tonight. She got a walk-through of the convention stage earlier today. Tonight's speech is a critical element in unifying the party around the man who is now assured of the nomination.
Clinton still has a lot of support, and many of those supporters are still smarting over losing her loss. One Utah delegate in that camp plans to support Obama, but is still looking to Clinton for what she calls closure.
Lisa Allcott, a Clinton delegate, said, "I always look at the woman first, and if I share her values, then I am there for her."
As a former party leader and democratic activist, Lisa Allcott has long crusaded for women in politics, one woman in particular. "I was in a Hillary Clinton fan club in California," she said.
Like many Clinton loyalists, she's still fighting disappointment, while trying to unify behind Barack Obama "It's hard, you know, I volunteered for her for more than a year, 18 million people supporter her. It was really tough," Allcott said.
She plans to attend many women's caucuses and events this week to find a direction. She said, "I am looking to channel my energy that I had for Hillary into something else. I don't know what that is yet."
Even though Clinton won't be the nominee or the VP, women like Lisa Allcott believe she's paved the way for other women in leadership roles.
