CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were mixed Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for Sept. was off .50 cent at $4.22 a bushel; Sept. corn up 4.25 cents to 3.2650 a bushel; Sept. oats was gained 5 cents at $1.72 a bushel; while Sept. soybeans advanced 24.75 cents to $10.2375 a bushel.
Beef was lower and pork was higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. August live cattle was off .40 cent at $1.1592 a pound; August feeder cattle fell .42 cent to $1.4865 a pound; while October lean hogs gained 2.50 cents at $.6250 a pound.
