Hammerton, a Utah-based interior accessories company, has hired the Summit Group to provide their marketing and public relations consulting services.

Photographer Richard Johnson recently did the photo work for Meeting Planners International and also for the grand opening of the Market Street Grill in Cottonwood.

Wells Fargo has awarded scholarships to eleven students in the greater Salt Lake City area. The scholarships are designed to help the children of Wells Fargo employees.

The Utah Arts Council commissioned a study of the impact of the arts on economic development in Utah. The study found that cultural activities measurably elevate the state’s economy. Significant benefits were found in dollar output, earnings, and the total number of jobs that the arts support. Here’s a Chamber History Fact: In the 1950s the Chamber led the fight to secure the development of Colorado River water for use in Utah.
