THIS IS LARRY MANKIN FROM THE SALT LAKE CHAMBER WITH YOUR METRO BUSINESS REPORT.

Bernard Haldane Associates, a career management firm, has awarded its Salt Lake office the National Office of the Year and its lead Advisor, Nadine Cooper, as Career Advisor of the Year. Their office recently moved to 6975 Union Park Center in Midvale.

Montgomery Watson Harza, an engineering solutions firm, recently moved to new offices at 10619 South Jordan Gateway.

Eliot Management Group, a provider of credit card and check services, recently moved to new offices at 3216 South Highland Drive.

This month the state’s largest mobilization of the Utah National Guard will take place in support of the Games and the fight against terrorism. In about two hours at the State Capitol, Governor Michael Leavitt, Mayor Rocky Anderson, and SLOC President Mitt Romney, will sign “Statements of Support for the Guard and Reserve.” The Chamber has signed a similar statement. Our Guard and Reserve are worthy of our highest honor and respect.

Here’s an Olympic business fact: Intermountain Health Care will staff 35 temporary medical clinics during the Games—one for athletes and one for spectators at the 16 major Olympic venues, plus several other sites.

The Business to Business Expo, the largest business trade show west of the Mississippi, will be held May 8, 9, and 10 at the Salt Palace. If your business needs business, this is where to find it. Call the Chamber now to reserve your booth at 328-5043 or see us on the web at saltlakechamber.org.
