TWIN FALLS, Idaho (AP) — Four inmates in the Twin Falls County Jail have been charged with beating up a fellow inmate.
The Times-News reports (http://bit.ly/1UIaHEW ) that the four accused inmates include one charged with attempted murder in Lincoln County and one charged with pistol whipping a man during a Buhl robbery.
The four inmates were arraigned last week on misdemeanor battery charges.
Prosecutors say the four men ganged up on 20-year-old William Dean Morgan. He has several pending cases involving burglary charges and is also accused of assault and battery on police officers.
One of the charged inmates said they had a problem with Morgan because he was a member of a California gang.
