CLINTON — The second of two men was charged Friday for allegedly tying up a pregnant woman and a 10-year-old boy in their Clinton home last fall.
Todd Shinnick, 25, of Syracuse, is charged in 2nd District Court with two counts of aggravated kidnapping and a single count of aggravated burglary, both first-degree felonies.
Shinnick is also charged with forcible sexual abuse, a second-degree felony, for allegedly groping the woman in the incident on Oct. 25 of last year.
Court documents allege Shinnick and 19-year-old Luis Angel Martinez broke into a Clinton townhouse at Maplewood Village, 650 West and 800 North, with the intent to attack a man who is the homeowner there.

However, Shinnick and Martinez allegedly found the woman and the boy instead. The men, who had baseball bats, were dressed in black and whose faces were painted black, tied the two victims to chairs, court documents state.
Clinton police have said the woman and the boy's eyes were also covered with duct tape.
Martinez of Bountiful was charged March 14 in the case with aggravated kidnapping, child kidnapping and aggravated burglary, all first-degree felonies. He has since pleaded not guilty.
Police documents indicate Martinez was a family friend, but neither man's charges give any details about a possible motive.
