ST. GEORGE, Utah (AP) — Utah Highway Patrol has determined that a report of a driver shooting at a commercial vehicle on Interstate 15 near Cedar City was false.

The Spectrum reports (http://bit.ly/1V2kxPc ) that dispatchers received a 911 call Sunday where the driver of a commercial vehicle said another driver fired two rounds at his vehicle.

Officers stopped the suspected vehicle at gunpoint and found an unsuspecting couple. Officers spoke to the couple and found the call was false.

Officers are looking for the person who made the call. They searched for a number of hours Sunday but were unable to find the driver who made the false report.
