UNDATED (AP) — Anticipation turned to disappointment for thousands of people who purchased Powerball tickets ahead of last night's drawing for the biggest U.S. lottery prize in history. No one matched all six Powerball numbers to win the jackpot, which totaled nearly $950 million. The newly estimated jackpot for Wednesday's drawing: $1.3 billion.

WASHINGTON (AP) — A report says the government is falling short in ensuring airline pilots keep up their flying skills. The Transportation Department's internal watchdog says pilots may not be getting full training on how to monitor sophisticated automated control systems in cockpits. And there are concerns that pilots' manual flying skills may be becoming rusty.

NEW YORK (AP) — New York City Police are looking for a group of men who raped an 18-year-old woman who was walking with her father inside a Brooklyn park. Police say five men approached. One man pointed a gun at the father and told him to leave. Authorities say each of the five men took turns raping the woman. The father returned with police, but the attackers had fled.

HELSINKI (AP) — Skavsta Airport in southeastern Sweden was partially evacuated and flights were delayed for several hours today. Officials say suspicious powder was found after a passenger had checked in luggage. An airport spokesman says the suspect bag belonged to "an elderly lady" who cooperated with police.

DETROIT (AP) — Some Tesla Motors vehicles will be able to park themselves without a driver inside with a software update beamed to customers this weekend. Owners must line up their Model S sedan or Model X SUV within 33 feet of the intended space. The owner can then park the car automatically using the key fob. Tesla says the system should only be used on private property.
