(KSL News) Members of the Metro gang unit arrested a man tonight when he stopped for a Big Mac.

The gang unit has been looking for Ricardo Serna for several parole violations and a current charge in Midvale for aggravated arson with a weapon. They had just picked up his trail when he pulled into the McDonald's restaurant.

Capt. Jim Potter, with the Salt Lake County Sheriff's Office Investigations Unit said, "They were able to locate him here as he was getting ready to go through the drive-up window at the McDonald's. They boxed him in and placed him under arrest pretty much without incident."

Capt. Potter says this arrest is another in what he calls two good weeks of focusing on and getting gang members off the streets.
