FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) — Student enrollment for the fall semester at the University of Arkansas' flagship campus in Fayetteville is up nearly 2 percent from last year.
The 11th day enrollment numbers released Thursday show a total of 26,754 students that include 22,158 undergraduates and 4,596 graduate students. The number of undergraduates is up by 1. 5 percent over fall 2014 numbers while the number of graduates rose by 195 to 4,596 — just less than one-half of 1 percent.
All higher education institutions in Arkansas report enrollment figures from their 11th day of the semester to the state Department of Higher Education. The figures are preliminary until the data is analyzed and reviewed before a report is submitted to the Department of Higher Education, with the final numbers officially filed by mid-October.
