ATLANTA (AP) — Police are investigating a double shooting after an altercation near a high school in downtown Atlanta.
Local media outlets report that 18-year-old Keiunte Wallace was shot in back and 52-year-old Yu Xuejing was struck twice by stray bullets through her vehicle after nearly a dozen shots were fired on Friday night.
Atlanta Police say in an incident report released Saturday that Wallace and his group members were confronted by "four or five males" after a Grady-Carver high school football game before the altercation. Xuejing was shot as she drove through the intersection before she was struck in her ankle and head.
WSB-TV reports that Wallace, a student at Crim Open Campus High School, is in critical condition. Xuejing is in stable condition.
No arrests have been made.
