This is Fred Ball for Zions Bank, speaking on business.
I frequently drive to Cache County. On a recent trip up that direction, I happened to glance to my left when I was halfway up Sardine Canyon. I saw several golfers walking a beautiful little course. Curious now about a place I had driven past many times, I pulled into the Sherwood Hills Resort Conference Center and Spa, and I was impressed with the surroundings, facilities and wonderful staff.
Debbie Moss Hunter was my guide. She was obviously proud as she showed me the beautiful rooms and the common areas. All guest accommodations offer cable TV and are non-smoking. The suites have two-person jetted tubs and spectacular mountain views.
Sherwood Hills is owned by Richard and Michelle Knapp of University Properties. Michelle took great pride in designing the room accommodations, especially the bridal suites. The resort provides a wedding coordinator to work with the bride and her family to ensure a most memorable event.
The Belle Monte dining room has a distinct European-style and is elegant yet comfortable. The menu is eclectic, and the banquet staff is adept at bringing satisfaction to any sized group from a party of two to a large corporate gathering.
The golf course is also beautiful. This 9-hole course winds its way through maple, pine and quaking aspen trees. Gentle rolling fairways make it walkable, and the setting at the base of the picturesque Wellsville Mountain Range offers wonderful vistas.
Do you like to be pampered? Debbie walked me through the luxurious spa facilities. Patrons can enjoy a variety of massage techniques, facials, hair and scalp treatments or even manicures and pedicures, all tendered by expert technicians.
The Sherwood Hills Resort Conference Center and Spa is surely one of Northern Utah's finest getaway retreats. It's a gem in Utah's crown.
