Jeremiah Jensen and AP reportingUtah Jazz owner Larry Miller is hospitalized with health complications related to diabetes.

Jazz spokeswoman Linda Luchetti says doctors expect Miller to make a full recovery, but as of Monday had set no timetable for his release.

The 64-year-old Miller had not been feeling well for a few days before his wife took him to the hospital.

Luchetti says she spoke to Miller on the phone and "he's not skipped a beat."

Eyewitness News did have a chance to speak with Larry's son Greg, who was kind enough to update his condition. He confirmed that the Jazz owner of 23 years is hospitalized due to complications from type 2 diabetes.

As Larry gets older, his family worries about his health. But with some rest, Greg expects his father to be just fine.

"In speaking with his doctors over the last few days, my personal opinion is that he's gonna pull through this just fine, and that it's only a matter of time until its business as usual for him. It's not gonna be tomorrow, but through, hopefully, a little bit of a modification to his lifestyle, he'll be able to just work for many more years," Greg said.

Greg also said that he hopes this will be a wake-up call for Larry to take care of himself and not worry about taking care of business.

In addition to the Jazz, Miller owns a string of auto dealerships, a land development company and the Salt Lake Bees, a minor league baseball team.

Miller bought the Jazz outright in during the 1986-87 NBA season.
