SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Police have arrested a 42-year-old man in connection with the January shooting death of another man in Salt Lake City.
Court records show 36-year-old Erick Michael Burwell of West Valley City has been charged with murder, aggravated robbery and obstruction of justice stemming from the shooting of 24-year-old Christian McDonald of West Valley City.
KSL-TV reports (http://bit.ly/1KbmXJ9) Burwell was arrested Thursday night and booked into the Salt Lake County jail, where he was being held Friday on a bond of more than $1 million.
Court records he show he does not yet have an attorney.
Police say Burwell was with Jeremiah Hart, 42, when Hart shot McDonald during a Sugar House robbery.
Hart was arrested in February and faces charges of murder and other counts.
