LAS VEGAS (AP) — The Republican National Committee in celebrating Asian Pacific American Heritage Month in Las Vegas will talk about the importance of gaining the group's votes in 2016.
The GOP is hosting the free event from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Gold Coast Hotel and Casino off the Strip.
Hosted by Republican National Committee chairman Reince Priebus the event is expected to be attended by Nevada's Republican leadership in Congress, Sen. Dean Heller and Rep. Cresent Hardy.
Nevada Lt. Gov. Mark Hutchison and Utah Attorney General Sean Reyes are also scheduled to attend as well as Amata Radewagen who represents America Samoa as a U.S. delegate in Congress and is a GOP national committeewoman.
