TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) — Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush is returning to the state capital for an education forum.

Bush was governor for eight years and is now focused on mounting a possible bid for U.S. president. During his term he pushed changes to the state's education laws, including installing Florida's A-to-F school grading system.

The Tuesday summit hosted by the Foundation for Florida's Future will focus on school choice and holding schools accountable.

It comes at a time when state legislators are considering scaling back some of the standardized tests that have been a mainstay since Bush was in office.

Bush will also headline a fundraiser during his visit.

Florida Gov. Rick Scott and the state's two legislative leaders are scheduled to make remarks during the summit.
