LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) — In the first of five Top-25 games today involving two ranked schools in men's basketball, fourth-ranked Duke had a 10-point halftime lead at No. 6 Louisville. The other games featuring two ranked schools today are No. 10 Arizona hosting eighth-ranked Utah, ninth-ranked Kansas playing at 11th-ranked Iowa State, 16th-ranked West Virginia at No. 20 Texas and 18th-ranked Oklahoma meeting No. 24 Oklahoma State.

CHICAGO (AP) — Two of the top teams in the Eastern Conference of the NBA are playing tonight in Chicago as the Bulls entertain the Hawks. Chicago enters the game as the top team in the Central Division, while the Hawks, who have won 11 straight, are leading the Southeast.

DETROIT (AP) — In a good matchup tonight in the NHL Nashville is skating in Detroit. The Predators are tied with Anaheim for most points in the league while Detroit has won four of its last five games to stand three points back of Atlantic division-leading Tampa Bay.

HONOLULU (AP) — The third round is on tap today in the PGA's Sony Open. The lead after two rounds was shared by Webb Simpson and Matt Kuchar (KOO'-chur) at 12-under-par. Tim Clark and Troy Merritt start the day two shots back, and defending champ Jimmy Walker trails by four.

ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates (AP) — Third-round play was completed earlier in the day at the Abu Dhabi (AH'-boo DAH'-bee) Championship. The leader is Martin Kaymer by six shots. The man expected to challenge for the title, world No. 1 Rory McIlroy, is eight shots off the pace.
