CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) — The Jackson Town Council has granted approval for a private Christian school to operate.
The Jackson Hole News&Guide reports (http://bit.ly/1wfz0J4 ) that the town last week granted approval for the Timber Ridge Academy to open at Redeemer Lutheran Church.
The school space is supposed to be temporary while school leaders search for a permanent location elsewhere in the valley.
The school has 15 students and four staff members. School officials told the council that they hope to expand to 50 students. The school will operate separately from the church.
