LAS VEGAS (AP) — Police say a man on his way to work at a northwest Las Vegas gravel quarry found a motorist dead in an overturned vehicle.
Las Vegas police Officer Laura Meltzer said police were called about 6:30 a.m. Monday, but it wasn't immediately clear how long the overturned SUV had been off Lone Mountain Road near the 215 Beltway.
Meltzer says the vehicle was down an embankment, and the area doesn't get much traffic during the weekend.
The identity and cause of death of the motorist wasn't immediately made public.
