SOUTH SALT LAKE — Police are looking for a woman who robbed Zions Bank Tuesday afternoon.

The woman entered the bank located at 3880 South 700 East and passed a note demanding cash at approximately 4:18 p.m., South Salt Lake police spokesman Gary Keller said.

She then walked out of the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash and entered a waiting dark-colored, 4-door passenger car that was being driven by a male accomplice, Keller said.

Bank customers watched the robbery take place, and no one was hurt, Keller said.

The woman is described as hispanic, in her early 20s, and 5 feet 4 inches tall with a heavy build and short, brown hair, Keller said. She was also wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with a blue ink stain on the front right shoulder and white pants.

If anyone has any information about this incident or the identity of the woman in the photos please call South Salt Lake Police Dispatch at 801-840-4000.

All calls are considered confidential and callers can remain anonymous.
