STARKE, Fla. (AP) — Authorities say a semitrailer rear-ended a stopped school bus as children were getting off, injuring seven children and three other people.

Bradford County Sheriff's Capt. Brad Smith said the accident occurred Monday afternoon, just north of Starke in north Florida. Smith said two or three of the children had serious injuries and were taken to a hospital.

He says none of the injuries are believed to be life-threatening.

Bradford County schools spokesman Brian Graham said there were 15 students on the bus when it was hit by the truck traveling south on U.S. 301.

Graham says the bus driver, the tractor-trailer driver and a passenger in semi were all among the injured.
