PRICE, Utah (AP) — Two people have been charged with manslaughter in the December 2013 death of a Price man who overdosed on heroin.
Jason Jaimez and Shelbi Mower were charged Friday in 7th District Court in the death of 47-year-old Trevor Whiteside.
According to charging documents, the two 37-year-olds recklessly caused his death by supplying him with heroin.
The Deseret News (http://bit.ly/1vpXfaj ) reports it's the second time this month Carbon County prosecutors have filed a manslaughter charge against someone for providing drugs to a person who died.
On Sept. 5, Alejandra Dunn was charged with providing a lethal dose of a prescription painkiller to Anthony Compton of South Jordan in August 2013.
