EAST NAPLES, Florida — A Florida father says he owes his life to his six-year-old. His son's quick call for help got paramedics to the East Naples house after he collapsed on Tuesday.
Kindergartner Jeremiah Sencharles is brave beyond his years. At just six-year-old, Jeremiah's quick thinking helped save his dad's life.
On Tuesday night, Gose suffered a medical emergency. He collapsed inside the family's Naples home. His wife was at work, so his son Jeremiah immediately called 911. For almost nine stressful minutes, Jeremiah remained calm.
Jeremiah told us that courage came from his faith. He says when paramedics arrived and rushed his dad to the hospital, he said a prayer.
Just two days later, doctors released Gose from the hospital. He went straight to pick up his little hero at Naples Christian Academy.
