CARSON CITY, Nev. (AP) — Gov. Sandoval has appointed a new director for the Nevada Department of Employment, Training and Rehabilitation.
The governor announced Friday that he'd appointed Don Soderberg to the post.
Soderberg works as the Industrial Relations Administrator within the state Department of Business and Industry. He previously held posts as chairman of the Nevada Public Utilities Commission and as a vice president of Southwest Gas.
He fills a vacancy left when previous director Frank Woodbeck took a job in higher education in April.
