This is Chris Redgrave for Zions Bank Speaking on Business.

You own a fleet. That means the only time you're making money is when the fleet is on the road or operating on a job, which makes keeping your fleet up and running a critical need.

The problem is fleets need maintenance and repair. And that always means downtime. The issue is further complicated when vehicles need to get to a repair facility. And for years, that created a bottleneck for fleet owners and operators. Then Transwest Mobile Truck Repair in West Valley City changed everything.

Owner and founder Brandon Staley (stay-lee) with his business partner Niel (neal) Townsend decided to focus directly on fleets and offer on-site fleet maintenance and repair. And that's what their company was founded to do six years ago. Transwest Mobile Truck Repair now contracts with companies throughout the Wasatch Front to service their fleets and care for equipment at the business. They understand how critical it is to keep vehicles operating.

Brandon's idea was to create mobile repair shops that travel across the Wasatch Front to service vehicle fleets at a customer's location. This means fleet owners and operators can continue to keep vehicles operating with minimal downtime.

Transwest Mobile Truck Repair adapts their business to fit a client's needs. That means when they first get started with a client, they'll assess the needs and how they'd like business done. They then created a plan for those needs, including the best times of the day or days of the week to perform service work, including mornings, evenings or Saturdays. The model is so unique it's given them a strong competitive advantage.

Brandon loves to analyze what numbers mean which makes him a great strategist. Through his analysis, he discovered in most cases, it's more affordable to hire Transwest Mobile Truck Repair than to have a full-time repairman. He also analyzes fleets to help maximize their use, advising his clients on what to purchase, how long to operate and even when to sell. It's designed to help the client understand how to get the greatest return on their assets.

For Zions Bank, I'm Chris Redgrave, speaking on business.
