WICT Rocky Mountain to Honor Cable Industry Leaders at 15th Annual
Walk of Fame
DENVER, April 25, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The Women in Cable
Telecommunications (WICT) Rocky Mountain Chapter today announced the
nine cable industry leaders that will be honored at its annual Walk of
Fame event on Thursday, May 22, 2014. The Walk of Fame is recognized
as a premier regional event for recognizing industry leaders whose
passion and ambition exemplify the WICT Touchstones of Leadership.
"WICT's Rocky Mountain Region is proud to boast a slate of highly
accomplished and successful honorees for our annual Walk of Fame,"
said Maria Popo, President, Ubee Interactive and Chapter President.
"We are also excited to announce that leading this year's list of
winners as our 2014 Woman of the Year is Maggie Chan Jones, SVP of
North American Marketing at Level 3 Communications."
The 15th annual Walk of Fame will be held at the Hyatt Regency Denver
Tech Center on May 22, 2014, from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., and is open to
all professionals in the cable telecommunications industry. For more

The honorees were nominated through a confidential and comprehensive
process by colleagues, mentors, fellow members and leaders throughout
the industry. The WICT Rocky Mountain chapter is proud to announce the
2014 Walk of Fame Woman of the Year.
WICT Rocky Mountain - 2014 Woman of the Year
Maggie Chan Jones, Senior Vice President, North America Marketing,
Level 3 Communications
Maggie and her team are responsible for defining the regional
marketing strategy, creating customer-focused marketing programs, and
driving return on marketing investments to deliver financial results.
Before joining Level 3, Maggie spent seven years at Microsoft
Corporation. She was the marketing director of U.S. Cloud Services and
Office 365. Her team led the launch and implementation of the Office
365 business, one of the fastest-growing products in Microsoft's
history, in the United States. Prior to that role, Maggie held several
leadership and global marketing positions in product marketing,
product management, and channel strategy and development at Microsoft,
Sun Microsystems and ADIC. Maggie has been recognized for her
leadership qualities including: Recipient of Diversity Journal's Women
Worth Watching 2014 award, Capacity Magazine's 2013 Best Marketing
Team award, and Colorado Diversity Council's Most Powerful and
Influential Women award.
