PHOENIX (AP) — The Arizona Diamondbacks have optioned right-hander Will Harris to Triple-A Reno and selected the contract of right-hander Mike Bolsinger.

Arizona also transferred right-handed reliever David Hernandez, who has a torn elbow ligament, to the 60-day disabled list.

Harris went 0-1 with a 9.72 ERA in seven relief appearances. He is 5-2 with a 4.22 ERA in parts of three seasons in the majors.

Bolsinger will be making his first appearance in the majors and is slated to start Saturday at Los Angeles in place of struggling right-hander Trevor Cahill, who will move to the bullpen.

Bolsinger was 2-0 with a 1.42 ERA in two starts for Triple-Reno.

Cahill is 0-4 with a 9.17 ERA in four starts this season.
