(KSL News) Utah Valley State College is becoming a University, but the name isn't the only thing that is changing. Tuition prices are, too.
Last night, the school's board of trustees voted to raise tuition by 2.8 percent for the 2008-2009 school year. Coupled with another increase being instituted by the state, students at UVU will end up paying an additional $188 a year.
The tuition hike will bring in an additional $1.2 million in revenue to the school.
