LATEST: THE ROLLING STONES will be shown at their most vulnerable when former bandmate BILL WYMAN opens his photo album for his first photography exhibition next month (JUN06).

The avid snapper has been taking photographs of music and film greats throughout his career but he has never shown his shots in public before.

That will change when he launches WYMAN SHOOTS at the San Francisco Art Exchange in California on 9 June (06).

The world debut features many unseen candid snapshots of his former bandmates.

One features KEITH RICHARDS in a tuxedo, while another shows RON WOOD posing with his infant daughter. Perhaps the most emotive shot shows tragic former Stone BRIAN JONES caught in the rear-view mirror of a car.

The exhibition also includes photos Wyman took of surrealist artist and South of France neighbour MARC CHAGALL shortly before his death, alongside portraits of JOHN LEE HOOKER, ERIC CLAPTON and RINGO STARR.

Wyman says, "I'm very pleased that I saved all my photographs from when I started taking them in the 1960s." (KL/WN/JB)
