(KSL News) A man hit himself in the head with an axe while chopping wood. Now he's in the hospital.
Fire officials say the 45-year old was in his back yard in Magna. As he was swinging up, the axe hit some clotheslines above him.
Fitzgerald Petersen/UFA: "Those lines should have been removed prior to using a tool like that, not having room overhead to operate the tool."
It's not an open wound, but the man hit himself hard enough he passed out. The head injury was serious enough to call a chopper to take him to the hospital.
