How do we move into the New Year and make a resolution that we will accomplish? Do we make these resolutions because we think that if we accomplished these goals, it might make us happy? Or do we feel we are obligated to do it?

What is our underlying purpose for making these resolutions? If we can figure out why we do this, then we could figure out how to make it stick. In reality, we usually try to fix our messed up life from the outside in. We buy new clothes, cars, or house -- all things that are outside of us. Maybe the only way to truly make our resolution work is have it come from the inside out. Plan our goals from the heart, then incorporate them into our life. 1- Happy people take responsibility for their own life. 2- Learn to increase our own relationships and have less fear. 3- Look for the positive and the things that are working. 4- Learn to forgive. 5- Lose ourselves and be of service to others. 6- Find our heart and the deeper yes that matters most.

We need to reignite the heart to find real satisfaction. We can find our resolution in the heart and not just the head? What is in your heart is what will make you happy.
