Sam Gordon Blogs Super Bowl XLVIISam Gordon is a 9-year-old girl from Salt Lake City, and a video of her repeatedly running past boys on the football field went viral recently.
Sam was invited by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell to come to the Super Bowl, and while she was there, blogged about her experience in New Orleans.
Sam arrived in Louisiana on Thursday with her dad, in preparation for the events that would start Friday. Sam and her dad went to the NFL Experience, a camp where fans are able to participate in games and take pictures of memorabilia.
On Saturday, Sam was interviewed by CNN and ESPN. She was also able to go to the NFL Honors show, and she was very excited to wear a dress designed by Oscar de la Renta.
Sunday was the big game, and while Sam was cheering for the 49ers, it looks like she was still able to enjoy the experience. How many times do you get to hold a live alligator? That, and the view from the commissioner's suite probably wasn't too bad either.

Good luck keeping up with her.
Puppy Bowl IX Highlights
While fans in New Orleans sat in darkness waiting for the lights to come back on, Puppy Bowl IX went mostly accident free on Animal Planet.
To combat the draw of the Super Bowl, Animal Planet shows hours of puppies competing against each other inside a miniature football stadium. The game is complete with yardage markers, referees and goal posts, as well as a water bowl, chew toys and fans painted on the walls.
Not to be outdone, the halftime show entertainment was provided by kittens. You'll have to decide whether you preferred Beyoncé or the kittens.
Chiefs select Leon Sandcastle
With the Baltimore Ravens claiming the title of the best team in the NFL, it's time to start paying attention to the worst team in the NFL: the Kansas City Chiefs. The Chiefs own the No. 1 pick in the 2013 draft, and will look to select a player that can help change the direction of the franchise.
The NFL Network ran what may have been the top commercial on Super Bowl Sunday, featuring Deion Sanders. In the commercial, Sanders enters the NFL draft under the fictional name Leon Sand …. castle. Sanders has the distinction of one of the best combine performances of all time, showing up to run the 40-meter dash, then without breaking stride, running out of the stadium and into a limousine.
For the sake of the residents of Kansas City, let's hope they find someone a little younger than Mr. Sandcastle.
Improprable buzzer beater answer to prayer
Rush-Henrietta senior point guard Bay Barley has a claim to Internet fame after hitting a game-winning 3-point shot from his knees to help the Royal Comets to a 57-54 win over Greece Athena.
With five seconds left Barley was rushing the ball up the court and was bumped by an Athena defender before crossing half court. Barley stumbled, spun, maintained his dribble, and fell forward in a full barrel roll and fired the 3-pointer from his knees for the win.
"I honestly had my eye on the basket the entire time," Barley said. "I kept my dribble alive and just threw it. I didn't know what to do. I was just happy to come out with the win."
At least he knows how Matthew Dellavedova feels now.
Shaq sings along with Beyonce
Shaquille O'Neal is a larger-than-life personalitity. The former NBA center has always had a fun side, and isn't lacking in musical talent; he produced two albums in the '90s.
The NBA legend was in the crowd for the Super Bowl and was taken away by the halftime show, so much so that he sang along to one of the songs.
