PELICAN LAKE
Six inches of ice reported and good fishing for bluegill. Fisheries biologist Ryan Mosley recently caught big bluegill up to nine inches. He best bait was a Gitzit in chartreuse tipped with a meal worm.
Starvation Reservoir
Great fishing reported for big bows and perch. Ice near Freedom Bridge is around 5 inches. Our buddy Glen killed them at around 45 feet using Maniac Gizzy Bugs in orange with an orange jig head, 12 inches below a Kastmaster. Tip with worm and perch eyes.
