MIDVALE — A company that sells parts for big and small appliances, as well as tools, and fixes broken appliances, will fix items for deployed military families for free for the rest of the year.
One of those families is the Barney family. Trent Barney is currently in Afghanistan with the Utah National Guard. When Amy Barney's blender broke, she took it to eReplacementParts, who offered to fix it for free.
"It's been hard to do all the shopping and take care of everything all by myself," Amy Barney said. "It's really nice to have the opportunity to have things taken care of. We have a lot of stuff that we need help with, being all by ourselves."
For the rest of the year, the company wants to help deployed military families. It's their way of saying thank you. "They do so much for us, and we're so indebted to them," Mark Sodja said.
Matt Gardner said the store has had a great year and wanted to do something with the leftover budget.
