SALT LAKE CITY — Zachary and Makayla aren't your typical siblings. They love spending time together, they rarely fight or tease one another. They are polite and kind.
Zachary, 12, and Makayla, 13, are currently in a foster home together, but it hasn't always been that way and they hope adoption is in their future.
"I want a family of my own who loves me and cares for me," Zachary said.
While the two have a lot in common, they definitely have their own personalities.
Makayla loves dance, Spanish and to swim. Her favorite color is hot pink and her favorite food is ice cream — especially chocolate ice cream.
Zachary, on the other hand, loves to read and his favorite subject is writing. His favorite food? Tater tots. He has several favorite colors: blue, green and red. He has a passion for animals, particularly dogs.
