(KSL News) Two Utahns have been chosen for an elite group of young inventors.
Thirteen-year-old Olivia Snarr of Kaysville, and 12-year-old Tanner Post of Liberty are semifinalists in the second annual Bubble Wrap Competition for Young Inventors.
The contest challenges young people to invent useful new ways to use the common packaging material.
Post used it to design a multipurpose first aid kit. And Snarr built a tool that helps people learn braille.
The contest is open to students in grades five through eight.
