Okay, there's bowling and then there's bowling at Jupiter Bowl in Park City, located at Kimball Junction in the Newpark Town Center.
If you haven't had a chance to check out Jupiter Bowl let me be the first to say you won't believe your eyes. This amazing venue is 22,000 square feet with 12 public bowling lanes, four private bowling lanes, pool tables, an arcade, full-service bar and a restaurant. Not only is this upscale family entertainment a sight to behold, Jupiter Bowl is known for their great food.
When was the last time you had a chance to order Jambalaya or mac and cheese made with buttermilk fried chicken served over creamy white cheddar with jalapeno and bacon? That's a bit of a stretch from the bowling alleys I grew up with!
Jupiter Bowl is certainly open to the public; plus, it's so big a private party can be happening at the same time. Some of Utah's major corporations have hosted events there, and if you really want to spoil the kids, a private birthday party with their own bowling lanes and some great pizzas, sliders and tater tots would blow your kids away. If you have a large company or a really big family and are looking for something new and different, you can rent the entire Jupiter Bowl.
In meeting with Director of Sales and Marketing Damon Kuemmel (kimmel), he was quick to point out the luxury lanes with a 70-foot video wall that scans the back of the bowling alley. At Jupiter Bowl Damon can also set up a dance floor and DJ over the lanes for dancing.
General Manager John Schoeck (show-eck) along with the other managing partners have made sure they have mom-friendly videos for the kids and they have family day on Sundays from noon to 5 p.m. where you get pizza, bowling lane and fountain drinks for $50 for a family. It's no wonder Ski Magazine named Jupiter Bowl as the top All-Ages Apres Ski Destination in the United States.
