(KSL News) -- A state trooper tasered a man who escaped from a patrol car today on I-15.
Troopers had arrested the driver and his passenger. But while they were searching the suspect's car, the man wrangled out of his handcuffs and jumped out of the patrol car.
Troopers chased him over a fence and were forced to taser him. They say they found stolen checks and drug paraphenlia inside his car.
He and his passenger are in jail.
