Sandra Yi ReportingThere were some tense moments at the Sherwood Forest Trailer Park this morning, as police and SWAT surrounded a home after reports of a possible hostage situation. But just after noon, the SWAT team entered the home and discovered no one was inside.
Police went to the trailer home after they got a call from two teenage girls saying they were being held against their will.
Earlier in the morning, officers had two people in custody. They were identified by family members as Rafael and Elvia Gomez. The couple lives in the trailer home.
Their son told us he had no idea why police were there. He says his parents and his two-year old niece were the only people in the home. He says he was also taken into custody when he came to see what was happening.
Leo Gomez, Lives in House: "I came back and I pulled in. I pulled in here first and they told me to leave, and I went and pulled back and I went over there. And that's when everybody grabs me and handcuffs me."
The homeowners gave police permission to go inside. When the SWAT team went in, they didn't find anyone.
Police were getting a search warrant to search the home and find out if any crimes were committed. No one's been arrested.
The homeowners believe this all started when two teenage girls came to the house to visit one of their sons. The girls showed up this morning and were asked to leave.
The couple doesn't know who called police, but they say the allegations of a kidnapping or hostage situation are completely false.
Police don't have anyone under arrest, but they are looking for two possible suspects in this case.
