SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- Utah residents are getting out their umbrellas today as much of the state is getting hit with wet and wild weather.

While the Wasatch Front is experiencing rain and wind, a severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for eastern Utah.

The National Weather Service issued the watch for Grand, Daggett, Uintah and San Juan counties until five p-m tonight. Western Colorado and Southwest Wyoming are also under the watch.

Basically, the watch means conditions are favorable for severe thunderstorms that could bring hail, high winds and possibly lightning.

N-W-S meteorologist say tomorrow eastern Utah is forecast to warm up and dry out. While, the Wasatch Front will likely see rain, snow and cooler temperatures.
