Police surprised officials at a Dutch bank on Thursday (16MAR06) by returning a valuable Van Gogh painting nearly seven years after it was stolen. The Pollard Willow, which the legendary artist painted in 1885 and is valued at several million euros, was taken in May 1999 in a heist cops are still to solve. (GES/WNWR/JB)
