LOGAN -- With the game time temperature at 52 degrees and falling, the cool weather only seemed to heat up the Aggies who scored 42 points in the first half alone. Head coach Gary Andersen seemed to have quality games out of any player he turned to. Let's look at some of the standout performances from the matchup between the Utah State Aggies and the Wyoming Cowboys.

Chuckie Keeton, Utah State Fr. QB - The true-freshman had quite possibly the best game of his young career against Wyoming, throwing five touchdown passes in the first half alone. After throwing for just 122 yards on 13-25 passing, Keeton nearly matched that in the first quarter throwing for 105 yards on 4-5 passing. Keeton finished 15 of 20 with 213 yards and five touchdowns. Keeton was especially impressive on the Aggies second 99-yard scoring drive of the year capping off the drive with a 19-yard touchdown to junior running back Robert Turbin. The true-freshman also managed to run for 44 yards on just 4 carries. Keeton was replaced by junior transfer Adam Kennedy with just over three minutes remaining in the third quarter.

Robert Turbin, Utah State Jr. RB - It seems easy to pencil in 100-yards and two touchdowns every week for the junior running back. This week that was just off the first half production from the junior; Turbin gained 82 of total offense including two scores (one rushing and one receiving) through the first thirty minutes of play. Turbin finished with 113 yards on the ground, 19 through the air and two scores. It is the fourth straight game Turbin has reached the 100-yard rushing mark this season and twelfth of his career.

Utah State Defense - After a disappointing opening three minutes, the Aggies went on lockdown allowing only seven points for the rest of the game. USU defenders recorded only one sack but were consistently pressuring Cowboy true-freshman quarterback Brett Smith. Senior linebacker Bobby Wagner finished the game with 11 tackles and ended the first half with the first interception of the season for the Aggies. Wyoming finished the game with 129 yards rushing, with 67 of those yards coming in the mop-up work of the fourth quarter.

Dave Baldwin: Utah State Offensive Coordinator - After the Aggies were unable to put away both Colorado State and BYU, the Utah State offense really let loose against Wyoming scoring on every offensive possession well into the second half. The first punt of the night occurred at 2:35 left in the third quarter with back-up quarterback Adam Kennedy under center. USU racked up 63 points on 548 yards of total offense. This is exactly what the Aggies needed leading into their WAC schedule which begins on the road next week against Fresno State.
