Amanda and I were talking the other day about how it seems sometimes that nothing works....politics, customer service, auto repair, etc....it always takes longer, is more expensive....so it is with great pleasure that I can tell you about something that does work; The United Way
Every year we hear stories of people who are able to turn their lives around or get needed help to get them out of a serious situation because of United Way agencies. And with the United Way, it's not just about the money...the people who work at the various agencies really care about their clients like they were their children.
You will hear numerous comments this week about the United Way and tomorrow we'll be doing the morning show from the Gateway for the annual United Way Day Of Caring.
