(KSL News) -- Deputies found two bodies buried in a shallow grave near the Utah border.
They made the discovery when a woman led them to the home of Mel Harris, a man who she says abducted and sexually assaulted her.
The bodies have been identified as Desiree Towne, and Edward Waterbury of Desert Springs, which is on the Arizona Strip between St. George and Mesquite.
The woman claims Towne and Waterbury stopped by Harris' house while he was holding the victim hostage.
Deputies who found the bodies said both had been shot.
The man living on the ranch was arrested on suspicion of kidnapping and sexual assault. Officers are still piecing the bizarre crime.
