SALT LAKE CITY -- Hollywood leading man Hugh Jackman is making the rounds to promote his new boxing/Rock ‘em Sock ‘em Robots movie, Real Steal and in the process he may have broken a WWE wrestler's jaw.

Jackman appeared on "WWE's Monday Night Raw" on September 19 to promote the new flick and teamed up with wrestler Zack Ryder. Jackman helped coach Ryder as he took on fellow wrestler Dolph Ziggler. As usually happens in the wrestling ring, things got a little dramatic, and Jackman may have taken the theatrics a little too far.

"With the referee distracted (as per usual), Jackman wound up to deliver a ‘punch' to wrestler Dolph Ziggler's face," wrote zap2it.com's Jeff Anderson. "The punch landed a bit harder than anticipated and according to reports, Ziggler suffered a real-life broken jaw."

The Huffington Post watched Ziggler's Twitter account the following day and found this, "land in Bikini Bottom 9:30 am, MRI scheduled for 1 pm.....possible fractured jaw #thanksBatman." Not sure why he made the Spongebob Squarepants reference, but he intentionally called Jackman Batman instead of Wolverine to get his blood running. He already broke your jaw; you really want to egg him on more?

Later in the day Ziggler tweeted an update to his MRI. "Hairline mandibular fracture. Guess I'll put my Chipotle in a blender for a few weeks." I'd just suggest going to Jamba Juice, they'll let you add protein to your Morning Mango Madness.

TMZ reported that the WWE was not in on the scam, but can we really trust that? WWE wrestler's are paid to be over the top and exaggerated, so I'm not sure I believe Jackman really broke Ziggler's jaw. But if he did, it's more undeniable proof that wrestling is 100% real…. Right?
