SALT LAKE CITY (August 31, 2007) - The Utah Jazz today released the television schedule for the 2007-08 season and for the third straight season, all 82 games will be televised. In addition, the Jazz will also televise four preseason games.
KJZZ-TV and Fox Sports Net Utah will share the local broadcast duties with each airing 40 games, respectively, during the regular season. All 80 local broadcasts on KJZZ-TV (22 home/18 away) and FSN Utah (17 home/23 away) will feature a half-hour pregame show as well as a half-hour postgame show. Nine of the FSN Utah games will also be produced in High Definition (HD).
The Jazz will also appear on national television 13 times over the course of the season, including two exclusive TNT games, along with four ESPN broadcasts and an additional seven games that will be simulcast on NBA TV.
"We are excited that all 82 regular season games will be televised for the third straight season, and are pleased to add four preseason games into the fold this year as well," said Utah Jazz president Randy Rigby. "The combination of KJZZ and FSN Utah continues to provide Jazz fans with a first-class broadcast experience."
The 2007-08 regular season will tip-off as the Jazz visit the Golden State Warriors on Tuesday, October 30 at 8:30 p.m. MT on KJZZ-TV. Fox Sports Net Utah will air its first regular season Jazz game on Saturday, November 3 as the Jazz host the Warriors at 7 p.m. MT.
