TOQUERVILLE — Two homes and two outbuildings were destroyed in a fire on the south end of a Toquerville subdivision Monday.
The fires were reported just after noon at the homes on Rimview Drive, said Washington County Sheriff's detective Nate Abbott. As of 3:30 p.m., the fires had been contained.
"There weren't any injuries to anyone," Abbott said. "The people were either away from the home or they were able to get them out in time."
The cause of the blaze is under investigation. Firefighters from Toquerville, Hurricane and Washington City as well as Hildale and Colorado City came to help fight the fire. There were no evacuations prompted by the fire, Abbot said.
