(KSL News) All the growth in Southern Utah is causing major traffic congestion in St. George.
Not only are there thousands of more cars on the road, but new buildings and road construction are also backing things up. Drivers say several areas are dangerous, but the Boulevard is the most crowded street.
"The traffic in St. George is bogus, man. I live over 800 East. You go to get on the Boulevard and you can't get on there, man. Hard to get on the freeway. It's kind of difficult these days."
Lawmakers are working on updating their road master plan and a wilderness bill that would allow for one project. Officials are hoping to create more major east-west and north-south corridors with less stopping.
